The ideal outdoor vest
should have pockets where you want and let you carry only the pockets
you need. But you don't want to hassle with zip-on pockets, which are
hard to use and don't offer much flexibility. And snaps and velcro don't
provide the strength or security you demand. Now you can do it your
way. Incorporating Ultimate Survival's revolutionary, patented Snap Track
attachment system, the Ultimate Wear Vest can be easily configured and
customised for optimum performance for any outdoor activity. With Snap
track, you can place pockets or other gear carriers on the vest wherever
desired and can move or remove them at will. Just slide the pocket on
the vest, snap, and go. Each vest comes standard with seven attachable
pockets (6 front and one "day pack" pocket in back), two permanent
inside pockets, and two permanent hand pockets. The Ultimate Wear Snap
Track Vest is water resistant, U.V. protected, and mildew and rot resistant.
The base mesh fabric is constructed from a high tensile strength 100%
raschel knit nylon that resists tearing, adds minimal weight, and allows
perspiration vapour to escape easily. The pockets are built from a high
strength pack cloth. Ultimate Survival designed the Snap Track for the US Air Force, CIA, Secret Service, SWAT teams and other elite forces. Snap Track proved during 600 knot ejection seat blast tests that it can hold pockets securely, yet allow them to be removed or moved noiselessly, in seconds.
