One of the most noticeable features of the Delica PlainEdge is Spyderco's trademark round hole in the blade that lets large, small, and gloved hands alike comfortably open the bladewith one hand while giving you maximum control. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handle fits great in the palm of anybody's hand and uses volcano grip texturing to keep it there.

The pocket clip detaches and can be affixed to either side of the handle for ambidextrous tip-up carry. A hollowed out screw fits through (yet retains) the lanyard hole, holding the clip in place without pivoting or slipping. With a more aggressive Volcano Grip pattern, the fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin handle offers comfortable improved handling and lasting durability.

This knife features a modified skinning-style blades produced with a new stainless steel called ATS-55. Developed specifically for the knife industry, ATS-55 takes and maintains a razor-like, enduring edge.

The consumnate folder when you want to cut something. The Rescue Junior's serrated sheepfoot blade is rounded at the tip for safe cutting (there is no point). This is a necessity for emergency personnel (cutting seatbelts), rafters (using in inflatables), ranchers (cutting around livestock) and marine applications (when cutting close to your hands while on a moving boat). The fiberglass-reinforced resin handle is heavily textured providing some rsistance for a firmer gripping surface.
